Bethlehem Village 2011


Bethlehem Village is back! We had a great time running Bethlehem Village 3 years ago, and were staggered to see 500 or so people coming along to experience the event.

We're really looking forward to running it again this year on December 3rd.
Plans are well under way, and there's a big focus on not only reducing the wait, but making it more enjoyable. A new Bangor Grammar? That's nothing. Wait until you see the new Bethlehem Village School! Founded by a wiseman no less!

Bethlehem Village is particularly appropriate for families with primary school age children, and younger. 

   UPDATE   

There's bad news and there's good news...
  • The bad news is that all the pre-booked slots have been snapped up. Sorry if you missed out, but they took less than 24 hours to go! :-(
  • The good news is that you can still turn up for the unbooked tours which start at 7:30, but you should be prepared to queue. Even better news is that this year the queues should be shorter (because of the pre-booking), AND most of the queuing should be indoors, so whatever the weather we look forward to seeing you at Bethlehem Village! :-)

One of the key ways we are reducing the waiting time is by introducing the option of booking. Booked tours will run from 5:45 to 7:15. You can still turn up without booking for one of the tours beginning at 7:30, but please be prepared to queue.

Important Booking Notes:
  • Booked tours are primarily to facilitate families with young children for whom queueing for long periods isn't fair.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Equally we would ask that for booked tours, all adults and teens should be accompanied by a child.
  • No more than 6 tickets can be booked at a time. When booking please take only those places you absolutely need, so that others have the chance to get a booked slot.
