Sunday

Sunday at Ballycrochan

If you’re thinking about visiting us for one of our Sunday services, here are a few details you might like to know.

Sunday worship plays a key role in the life of our church. It provides an opportunity to come together; to praise God, pray and discover more about who Jesus is and what it means to live for Him.

TEACHING AND PRAYER

On Sundays we usually meet together twice as a church family at 11:00am and 6:30pm. Our Sunday evening services can vary so if you are planning on attending please contact us to check what's happening.

Whether it is your first visit to any kind of church service, just browsing, or a regular attender, you can expect a warm welcome, and an opportunity to worship and learn more about God. If you would like to be kept informed about what is happening each week, please email info@ballycrochanbaptist.org to be added to our mailing list.

An integral part of our worship together is when we celebrate the Lord’s Supper or Communion. Communion takes place every Sunday morning, except for once a month when it is moved to the evening service. Normally there is an opportunity to leave before communion, so that anyone who does not wish to stay can go.

Most weeks tea and coffee are served prior to the morning service and sometimes after, as this is a great time to get to know people.

At Ballycrochan Baptist we are committed to prayer and it is vital to everything that we do. In addition to weekly prayer meetings before our Sunday morning service we hold regular whole church prayer meetings at 8pm on Wednesday evenings.

CHILDREN AND YOUTH

Ballycrochan Baptist is a family friendly church and children are welcome in our services.

We do however have a CRECHE on Sunday mornings to allow parents to drop off their babies and toddlers. Your children will be looked after by our excellent team of helpers and there are plenty of toys to play with, allowing you to attend our morning service.

Every Sunday from 11.20am until the end of the morning service, STAR KIDS is held for children in their pre-school year to year 7.

Run by members of the fellowship who enjoy teaching the Bible to young children, we take care of your children whilst you worship. STAR KIDS is a great opportunity for children to learn about God through hearing Bible stories, singing songs and doing crafts.

During our morning service we also have a small group Bible study, called EQUIP, for year 8 – year 10 students to explore God's word, discuss topics of interest and pray together.
